The moment when you decide to get married. Not something you should take lightly. I think about that when i am booked for an engagement photo shoot. I don’t take this lightly and want to capture the couple as they are and how they would like. Below are a few of the photos from Genie and Adam’s engagement shoot.

Little people are some hardest to capture photos of. They are always in motion, never pose or do what you ask.
And that’s ok, because i want to capture photos that show their persona, show off who they are and not who i want them to be. What is the best way to accomplish this?
Let them play, let them explore naturally, waste a few shots until they are comfortable around the camera, and work around their schedule. You need to be flexible with children, don’t expect them to be on your schedule or you wont be happy with the outcome.
